課程概述 |
The program consists of twelve topics related to system biology in the first and second semester of each academic year. Each topic will be assigned to a faculty member for a guided reading of relevant literature, or to invite domestic and foreign scholars to give lectures, and then to discuss the current trends of each topics through oral presentations by students. The courses are expected to enable students to more flexibly assimilate the techniques and new knowledge of the various components of system biology, to strengthen the abilities of integration and necessity across fields, and to develop the habits of reading primary literature and data interpretation. |

課程目標 |
This course focuses on promoting students' ability to think, ruminate, question, and respond, and provides a forum for interaction with expert scholars, faculty, and classmates. This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to integrate the knowledge gained from other required or elective courses in the program and to develop their own research directions and themes. |

課程要求 |
This course is open to juniors, seniors, and master's degree students in biology-related disciplines outside of the program for introductory and discussion purposes. Students from non-biology-related disciplines who have basic biology concepts and wish to enter the field of system biology are also welcome to join the course. |
